Locking up when reversing

still gotta get the stud out tho, an its easier while it has a head on it!

I'm fairly sure they're bolts at both ends of the propshaft - but you have to take the drive flange out to get at the other side of the gearbox end. Good excuse to replace the oil seal!

which flange are we talkin bout ere?

i was on the drive flange that the halfshaft sits in, bolted to hub.

just realised the diff flange could be the one your thinkin of?
 
Ah - sorry misunderstood. Thought you meant a propshaft to gearbox drive flange bolt. If it's one of the six driveshaft to hub flange bolts could you not get a smallish stilson wrench on it? Or is it the driveshaft to flange nut that's stuck?
 
Scrub that - you've already said it's the half shaft with the circlip on the end, not the nut. It's the man flu stopping me brain from working.
You could still cut the nut head off and take the remains of the bolt out with stilsons, though.
