As title, car went in for rear bearings to be changed. Been in limp mode since, 1st time error showed issue so was redone all put together again, same problem. They say it could be faulty baring, do you think they may have damaged sensors?? Just frustrating when car goes in ok but can't drive at all now.

We need much more information about the vehicle.

However I can't see how changing rear (I assume wheel bearings?) can cause an issue with the engine.
The only sensors at the back are wheel speed sensors, which have absolutely nothing to do the the engine. If the wheel speed sensors were giving issues, the ABS lights would be on.

Are there any warning lights when it's in limp mode? If it's a Freelander 1 TD4, then maybe the rear fuel pump has been damaged? But if they damaged that doing bearings, then they're a pretty rubbish place to use.

Theirs a yellow triangle around a circle and ! It's td4 freelander 2
Evidently...

"This indicator lets you know that there’s a Critical Warning Message that you need to read as soon as possible, but it doesn’t actually indicate a specific problem. Really, the triangle with an exclamation point is a catch-all warning light, designed to alert you to issues that your other lights won’t catch!"

So you need a diagnostic read to find out what the problem is.

I've also seen reference to an 'i' button somewhere, maybe on a stalk, that will toggle information messages on the display that might give you more info.

Can you take a picture of the warning light and post it here?

What bearings were changed?
Rear passenger, flagged up when plugged in something regards the back wheel being removed, will take pic, but only happens when I try to drive off

Always one, just trying to understand what they are trying to say re car.
Freelander has a reputation for being popular with male hairdressers with boyfriends from Brazil.

Did they put the bearings in the correct way round? They only go in one way.
Although this still shouldn't put it in limp mode.
Sounds like the garage don't have a clue on how a modern vehicle works.
Take it somewhere else, and chalk it up to experience.
