LIft Up Handle Doors Convert to Push Button Doors Question

Ok I'm in need of some rear doors for my defender and have the chance of some that need a little work but they are lift-up handle type doors and wont match my push button front doors.

Could I replace the door skin with the push button handle type, is this possible and has anyone done this before ?

I think the early 110 doors may be quite different internally, and need quite a bit of work to convert. Do they have wind up windows or sliding? A picture of the lock will help.

Here's a pic of two of my doors. Green is a push button, red is a proper handle. Quite different frames, thd inside of the handle area is very different, not easy to see in pics but looking through the window mech frame you can see there are no similarities whatsoever.
