Lift Kits

Looking to get hold of a lift kit for my V6 Freelander. Found a couple of kits that do the job, but just need to find out which is the best to go for in terms of how well they go in and how good their value

Land Rover Freelander 2" Suspension Lift Kit

Or has anyone else had this done? What kit have you used? Was it easy to go in - any modifications?

I'm ideally looking for 2" of lift

Hi

The 50mm lift kit will require some mods to inner wing the 40mm may not, seems to depend on idervidual vehicles, problem is steering arm rubs on top off cut out in inner wing. Haveing seen some of the kits available from an engineering point of view I prefer the DAP style not the stud spacer type.

Some other ramblins. The spring route ( ironman ) just raises the ride height and the shock is the same length so downward travel is not improved, but the spacer route the whole shock is moved down so you do gain some extra down travel, does hat make sense?

You will also need to correct he camber on the front wheels.

By the way I'm in the process of produceing my own lift kit's, sump gaurds etc.

Just read your bit about Freelander lift kit,your making one yourself ??
Have you got it done ??I to am interested in one and have tryed to get in
