Hi Guys.

Been away with the landy club over the weekend, and one of the guys noticed my Radius Arm bushes need replacing as the rear wheels have a bit of back and forward play.

When I was driving home, I noticed that the car was weaving a little and I thought it was the wind at first.
After a little trial and error, I found that if I was to take my foot off the accelerator, the car would sway to the left and I had to correct it.

When I took my put on the power, I noticed that the car would veer to the right a little.

Could this be bushes, or is it something more serious. It was a little unnerving especially when changing up gears from the lights on the dual carriageway.

Any ideas?

Was thinking of fitting a poly bush kit anyway, and after he said the radius arm bushes needed replacing I thought I might as well do the lot.

Its the bushs but you knew that already:D
Also worth checking the drop arm on the pas box as mine was wandering and the nut was loose!

A frame is knocking too but only when not smooth with throttle.
So it could be bushes, a frame, Drop arm or axle bracket. Which is most likely? Bushes? Would worn rear radius arm bushes cause steering to wander?

yes axle moves back and forth but feels like front

Magic. Cheers mate. I was gonna say, it didn't feel as it the problem was with the front of the vehicle or the steering. More like a little power slide, back end moving pushing car off its course so to speak.

Will get the poly bush kit, might as well do the lot.

i had the same problem when my trailing arm bush was worn out. If you grabbed the trailing arm and yanked it, you could hear it clunking. You should get under there and check your bushes out all over :)

Cheers. Bought a full poly bush kit hoping to fit this weekend if it doesn't rain!
