Leather swivel gaiter pattern.

I want to make my own leather swivel gaiters for my 2a, I would like to choose my own leather and tinker around with them a bit. I'm sure someone has done this before but despite scouring the internet I cant find a basic pattern or any info. Does anyone have a pattern / information? Or is there anything on the net that I've missed? Or anyone interested in doing the same thing? As a last resort I'll work from scratch or maybe buy a set of the cheaply available gaiters just as a pattern. Any info appreciated.

presumably your vehicle is as new ,if youve time to make your own gaiters

'Naw, wish it was, for an oldie like me its a bit like painting the forth bridge, when I finish its time to start again! I'ts not in bad nick though and the gaiters are part of my front axle project.

Personally i wouldn't fit them. The leather seams to trap water and grit over time wearing the swivels even more

I started this drawing some time back from dimensions gleaned from various sources, it is incomplete but maybe some help.
As far as I know the number of holes is correct, the radius dimensions are correct as well but as you can see there is a lot you will need to play with.
