I know this has been covered time and time again but the rear of my disco 1 keeps leaking...... I've searched and tried everything (I think) it's a 300tdi with two sunroofs both of which are silicone up

Should I add more or is there other rear leaking points...... I'm tempted to in give, and set it on fire to dry it out

The rear door seal lets in water , on my old disco water came in through tiny cracks in the outside guttering. Have you checked the alpine windows for leaks ?

Water collects in the rear head lining so I don't think it's the door....... I will double check the alpine Windows and report back

As thomo1927 says, check the gutter to body seal and where the rear door panels all meet. Could never properly sort mine out ... and mine never had sunroofs!

Thanks all...... I have rear air conditioning (not working) and the water comes out of the rear vents.... is the gutter high enough for the water to track up there?

Do you have roof bars fitted? My understanding is the fittings are not particularly water tight. That could explain water in the headlining if your sunroofs are already sealed up.

So I painted the bay widow yesterday with some liquid rubber paint.... the bay window stopped leaking....it got me thinking as to what else leaks...... the Landy roof of course.... so today I've painted the roof and made sure all the seals have been painted up to as well.....I've also painted all of the gutters..... hopefully no more leaks fingers crossed....

Any reports to how this worked?

It's leaking again..... but it's from a different place now, the liquid rubber seems to have worked fine. There seems to be a crack in the sealant that was used on the sun roof.... I'm going to tiger seal the seals and report back soon

Quick report back...... it seems that all of the above has cured the leaks...... I'll report back again when the weather is really bad
