Late 2a Steering column confusion

Just painting and putting my column back in, I have an extra clamp?

I have the plate that bolts to the bulkhead on the dash side with 3 holes in triangle pattern, I also have the column clamp that this bolts to, However I also have anothe clamp with 2 holes in 2 pieces that clamps round the column.

It down not have the all metal shrouding I have seen on some 2a's

How many upper column clamps should be on the column??

First clamp looks like this

The second clamp looks like this, which looks like a series 3 clamp, can someone enlighten me

Do I need just the first one??:

2nd one is a series 3 clamp , so yes just 1st one
