New to your forum and just had a bit of a telling off for not introducing myself before going straight into a post asking for help. (I can now see how that may have looked)
As stated in my first post I am members of skoda and rover forums and have been able to help quite a few fellow members as I carry out all my own repairs rebuilds and mini restorations as I also own a Triumph Stag.
Just bought myself a high mileage Freelander 2 td4 xs 07 plate.
Just fancied a change and moving to house that is on rather a steep hill so may require this when the snow comes.
Just doing a couple of jobs on it at the moment, new front wheel bearings and discs and pads to front. Also timing belt as it has done 158,000 miles ! Ex lease car with full history. Bought it cheap with full history.
Interior is in superb nick for the miles as is the body, just quite a few stone chips.
Anyway enough said and the clue to my name is in the title. Darren, and 1603 is my birth date and month, 16th march.
It is also the private plate I have had on a few cars on retention at the moment as it wasn't on my last car for very long at all so want to make sure I will be keeping this for a couple of years before I put on the freelander.
Great with mechanics poor with electrics just for info.
