landrover land rover or land-rover?

Wots the korrekt spelling of "landrover" pleese??

I think it depends on how old it is??? I'm sure there is someone on here will tell us exactly when the changes were made, but I think the series 1's and 2's were "Landrover", Series 3's "Land-Rover" and later stuff "Land Rover"..... but I could be completely wrong

Its either landy or beast

Definitely not car or truck and definitely never spelled JEEP

More seriously I always thought it was spelled Land Rover (2 separate words) like on the badge and the bonnet of discos and defenders.

I thought the original Series 1's were just called "The Landrover"... Series 1's and 2's definitely had a badge on the front grille (very similar to the metal badges that are also on the rear of Land Rovers. Series 3's had a hyphenated "Land-Rover" moulded as part of the front plastic grille.... I suppose the "Z" line through the other Series Land Rover badges could also be taken as a hyphenation????
There is no Hyphenation on newer models - I Guess that started with the 90/110 or Defenders???

I think it would have to be hyphenated or split as Rover comes from the manufacturing brand, and needs to have a capital letter.

funny as the badge in yer pic just says birmingham england but the one on the back of my series says solihull warwickshire england

so when did they make that change

LAND ROVER two words .. as it says on every badge/sticker on me Disco ..

The Series 2a Owners Manual, and various LR adverts for the Series 2 and 2a have it as Land-Rover throughout. The Series 3 parts manual has Land Rover. So mine's a Land-Rover (mostly).
