hi all have a 53 plate disco 2 td5 facelift.
have removed the l/r radio cass and fitted l/r cd player .
the old radio had a large plug with round pins ,the new one iso plugs ...
ok no probs fitted iso plugs and it now works including the parott ck3100 car kit for my mob.
however there are 4 wires left on the original plug which i presume work the steering vol/channel control. any one know to which pin s they go to and where do i get the 3rd iso plug (poss cut the locating lock off a spare iso plug) ??????
regards

The steering controls connect via the ISO plugs, I assum you have two one for the speakers and the other for all the rest, do you now have a multi cd player or the single cd player as part of the head unit?.
If you post a pic or two of the plug then we can ID it, tell you what it is and give you the answer. Hopefully:D

thanks for the promt reply
the head unit is a single disc player
the back of the unit has what appears to be 3 iso sockets
one does the pwr
one does the speakers
one there are 8 pins but nothing connected to it.
the old unit as i tried to explain had round pins in one plug
the unit i believe came out of adefender
