I thought anyone needing a little extra cash for Christmas. Should you be interested but a bit further away, I can probably cover a little more for your fuel.
Situation.
Just had 9 trees cut down and the mother load of wood from them
Help needed.
1. Dragging branches to a pile to burn (field work)
2. Splitting logs with auto log splitter (into trailer) (nice slow safe splitter)
3. Stacking logs (from trailer) into a pile
4. Optional (bringing logs to the location from fields)
Plan.
Break the back of it in a day with a few people(at least 3), 10am start 4pm finish (an hour for breaks/lunch), Nice and relaxed, outside in a yard area with power/shelter and music/radio.
Reward.
£90
A good lunch on site (Sandwiches/crisps/chocolate, soft drink of your choice)
Unlimited Teas/Coffee etc.
A souvenir log
Risk.
I will need a waver signing but main risk is mud/wet, if you can bring your own gloves etc great. The chainsaw work is done as much as is necessary unless there is a skilled woodsman available.
Likely to end up dirty and damp hence the short day.
There are some very heavy logs (I have lifted all of these solo) but this isn't petrol station log size.
I figure we blast through it at full speed rather than try and do a full day getting grumpy/cold/moaning etc.
Me... Its my way or the highway....
Date TBD.
I was thinking one Sunday.
Location.
10 miles from Oswestry
#1 toilet (wherever you can)
#2 toilet (is available natural composting facility)
\\ Afterthought... If anyone fancies sorting out the Fuel Pump timing on my Series 3 at the same time that would be extra
The Band
Lead Vocals - ER1C
On Splitter - Flossie
Heaving and Humping - Disco924
