Chaps,

Our 4.4 (BMW) RR has a BRC multi point LPG kit fitted to it. Whilst getting a couple of cooling problems sorted (viscous coupling and header tank) the local indy said that he sees no end of issues with LPG on the L322, cracked blocks and the like and he'd never run on it.

What's the consensus on here? LPG good or bad?

I'm thinking of using a flash lube system, has anyone else used this?

I havnt had any experience with L322 on gas but i have got a series 3 wiyh 2 1/4 running on gas also a ford F250 running on gas and have had them both running on gas for over 10 yrs with no problems.
As the engine is meant to run on unleaded fuel there should be no problems with valve recession and i dont see why the block should crack so i think its a good idea.
As for flash lube its a lead replacement additive and its main use is to lubricate the valves to stop valve recession so it wont hurt if you run with it
