Knocking noise

When you say knocking noise does the noise change speed with the engine or is when you are cornering or what??

hmmm, could it be your front shocks?? my rear ones made some weird sounds when they were on their way out. I knew it was those though because i could stand at the back of the vehicle and open the tailgate and then push down with all my weight and let go and you would hear the kinda squelchy grating noise that came from them.

I too have a knocking noise at the moment but mine is the bolts that hold the flywheel on rubbing on the torque converter my specialist seems to think its the rear oil seal/bearing on the crankshaft so we shall see when it all comes to pieces next week.
