Knocking Noise

Noticed a knocking noise coming from the rear of my freelander (1999 petrol) about 2 months ago and the noise has got increasingly worse, the best way to describe it is a dry knocking noise more noticeably when going around a right hand turn as best as i can pin point the noise is from the off side of the vehicle, has anyone got any advice or experienced a similar problem ? i'm thinking along the lines of either Rear driveshaft of Diff.

Er yep ditto. . . .

I have now been advised it is the rear O/S drive shaft as anyone fitted one ? Is it a big Job.
