Has anyone used K-seal to repair their radiator ? How good is it ?
I wonder just how big a leak it would bung up. My old radiator has sprung a couple of inaccessible leaks at the top of the matrix and I can't really afford a new one.
A new rad would be best but I'm just curious to know how good this stuff is before I dig deep into my pockets
Cheers !

It won't just find the holes you want it to fill. It'll also block waterways and thermostats. By all means use it as an emergency get you home thing but by no means use it as a long term repair.

i thought k seal only seals on contact with air, therefore it seals the outside of the leak and not any internals, it works well enough in k series engines, so it should be excellent in anything else.

buy a radiator and stop being tight

Aye, I suppose I am a bit tight but I'm afraid I need to be at the moment.
I think I will probably give this stuff a try and just keep my beady eyes on ebay in the hope that a decent one comes along. I'll post the results, good or bad, later.
If anybody has a good 2.5td radiator for sale then let me know please.
Cheers !
