Just to make sure...

After having the gearbox out n re connecting the wires for the diff lock light i found the light just stays on all the time. Wanted to check if the diff was locked or not so put the lever in unlocked, jacked up one corner tried to drive off and the wheel just spun. tried again with the lever in the locked position and it tried to drive away. SO i think my difflock is working correctly yes? just a spastic light?

ye thats what i thought. cheers. just wanted to check to i dont end up a tranny. hang on that ent quite right.. dont wreck the tranny.

Screw out the switch 1/2 turn at a time untill it works properly, or check you haven't trapped and shorted the wires somewhere.

Ya need to unscew the switch a bit as it is wound in to much hence why it is staying on
