Hi guys ive just aquired this series 2a 1965 and would appreciate any comments.im thinking of a total rebuild to as near original spec as possible(funds allowing)so would appreciate some input ,from the limited pics is she looking standard?would it be worth the trouble?i only have limited experience with landrovers and discos at that.

ill give you 400 euro for it lol... yeah a real bargain, keeping it origional as possible is probably the best way to go IMO, but its down to you, its your vehicle and if you want to upgrade suspension, steering, seats etc etc etc do it....
i am doing a series 3 at the moment and although i am changing a few things i am keeping all the parts so it can be put back to origional if i sell it.....
lots of pics of the rebuild please

and remember if your unsure about anything at all your answer will always be found doing a search on here if that is fruitless just ask we dont bite that bad :D:D

looks pretty original from what I can see from the pics.......a good buy though you gotta bit of welding to do but the looks of it.

.....and Johnny.....lying to the guys not gonna soften the blow :D

nothing will soften the blow if he asks a daft question before doing a search

ie; whats the biggest tyres etc etc

all im saying is if a search dont find his answer i dont mind helping in finding what hes looking for

i wouldnt call it lying just a bit of usefull advice on how not to get his ears burnt :D:D:D

Just don't go trying to make it into a defender or a "hybrid" ( a ridiculous term to use for a bastardised abomination ) it looks like you've got a relativley clean looking base for a good rebuild there - can't wait to see the bodges you find on the way if you do decide to rebuild it :D
