I have had a problem starting my 94 jeep grand cherokee. I have
changed so many parts it is not even funny. first here are the
symptoms car will crank but will not start, it is not getting spark at
the ignition coil or the distributer or the plugs. I have replaced
(because of this prob) fuel pump, filter, pressure regulater, plugs,
wires, cap & rotor, ignition coil and the crankshaft pos. sensor. I am
busting my head against the wall with what it could be if anyone has
any idea please let me know. I read some one else in the chrysler
colum was having the same problem please if you know or even have an
idea I am willing to hear them I am getting quite cold working on the
garage floor.

A bad battery that drops below 10 volts when cranking will not allow the
computer to turn on so you get no spark. All it takes is one bad cell
in the battery to cause this. It will still crank, but no go.
