The time has come to depart... the FL and my other car are been traded in.

I collect a Citroen C-crosser later in the week.... yeah yeah I hear, its French and unreliable you cry.... but the 2008 model im buying was made in Japan by Mitsubishi on the same line as the Outlander (and Pug 4007). So, its mainly mitsubishi with the PSA 2.2HDi engine also found in the Freelander 2 and I believe the Mondeo? as well as others PSA group cars.

FL aint going cos of reliablilty, its now on 118,000 and has been spot on, just passed its MOT on Thursday just gone. Just that I'm running 2 cars (a Skoda Octavia vRS too) and want to cut back a little.

I would of bought a late FL1 5 door if the boot had been bigger, but alas it isnt, and the FL2 isnt that big neither, although I really do like the look of them.

Any doubting thomases reading this and worried about reliabilty.... then mine has been pretty good TBH.

Serviced regular at a specialist at £250 a go.
2 x sets of prop bearings (the later GKN ones)
1 x Back box for exhaust at around 75k
1 x Slave Cylinder, clutch plate and DMF at 96k (was the slave cylinder that leaked/failed)
2 x Sets of Brake pads
1 x Pair of Discs
and, erm..... thats it..... never let me down.

Have fun folks, no doubt will pop in now and again and may have a couple of things to sell on....If I can work out how to package up the roof bars and rails for delivery, lol

Thanks for those that have helped me and advised over the last couple of years.

Steve
