Gents,

I have a 2003 Range Rover L322 TD6 Vogue,

Used all water from the washer bottle, refilled tonight all washer jets working except Front Windscreen.

I have pulled the pipe off at the T piece and it pumps water out, I then checked each jet and water is getting to both.

I then got a small piece of wire and pushed it down each jet, it went in about 7/8mm and stopped.

Is there some sort of electric operated valve in each jet?

loosing the will now.

Any help would be great.

Yep, washer on headlights and they work ok.

Cannot understand why windscreen ones just stopped.

Water is getting upto the T piece ans seems to be getting to back of jet so now confused.

Lol

Have you tried a blast from an airline the 'right' way through the jets. If they're knackered now it's worth a try, you can't make them any worse.

If you try this just stick your hand or something between the jet and the windscreen in case anything comes out at speed.

I am going to remove all pipes and try to get them out from the plastic bonnet trim panel.

Are they difficult to remove?

Thanks for the airline advice I will stick an old duvet across the window to protect it.

Cheers

mine did what your is doing, if you take them out you will see on the back that they can be taken apart. the problem is the valve inside is just a bit of poxy rubber that deteriorates and blocks the passage, just take the rubber valve section out a put it back together. it will work a treat after.

there are some on the market that have a thin but wide spray pattern, not expensive and do a better job that stock jets!! just sling them in and your sorted

Thanks for reply,

Full of what looks like grit?

Removed washer pipes attached foot pump hose, put towl on windscreen & pumped up to 100psi & then warmed up with hairdryer.

A unusual way to sort but it worked.

Cheers
