Is my turbo shot?

My 200tdi smokes every now and then when it gets hot. The smoke smells of oil. I took the injection pump boost diaphragm out to check the pin inside. When I undid the 4 screws on the cover oil pored out. Cleaned it all up but Shen I checked again yesterday the oil had started to build up again.

Is the oil most likley coming from a fooked turbo or am I missing something?

I got a spare 200tdi turbo....from a Disco though....if it helps

Ah thanks for the offer but I don't think it fits without some major mods. Gonna look into getting this one rebuilt. Failing that it's a new jobby. Would try eBay but if there is one there more than likely it's buggered to.

£25 for a seal kit. Do it now before it throws a wobbly and shreds itself.

ebay - or google trubocharger rebuild firms, most will sell the kits too.

midland turbos are good

will give them a bell after xmas. with any luck i could rebuild it myself and get them to balance it
