Is anyone running 255 / 70 / 16 on a lifted D2?

I'm currently running 235 / 70 / 16 bfg mts. On my lifted D2 (about 2") they look incredibly small and thin. I had 265/75/16 but the circumference was way too big and really had an impact on acceleration (plus they weighed a tonne).

Does anyone have pics of 255/70/16 so i can see how they fill the arches ? Im looking at getting hankook dynapro at's.

There might be a theoretical loss in acceleration but not too bad.
The Speedo is spot on with the GPS and there is a 5% delay on the trip counter.
My car has done 350 000 km on the first engine and still reaches 155 Kmh flat out.
(sometimes, with the wind from behind after praying to all gods, on the German motorway)

I like the tire size, it looks perfect.

I run 265/70 R16 with no lift and tired springs no problem no acceleration problems and speedo is right on with GPS. I think I could get to 155 KmH on the Autobahn

never had it over 140 KmH but will try on the way home today , I am at work will post pic later if you want to see.

Looks good mate! Thanks. I have ordered some new modular rims, when they arrive will order this size tyre I think.

ive had the maf clamped and boost box amongst other things so havent hit the rev limiter, which in top gear you shouldnt be hitting

I should have said flat out is 110mph but if I'm lucky enough to go above the rev limiter cuts in, but down hill the engine revs don't reach that limit, which is I believe is something around 5.5k rpm for the V8.

Not that I'm that interested in (like most owners of a disco 1 or 2 ) out an out performance.

Other cars that I have use of are a lot faster

it may not be the rev limiter you hit, it could be the maf sensor running out of steam, it then cuts fuelling, hence why I have the maf clamp fitted
