interior trim name???

Hi all,

I saw on ebay a bit of trim to neaten up the inside of my cab the other day, but for the life of me I can't find it again!!

It was a essentially a bit of metal that runs on the inside of the door opening on the floor. It covers where the seat-box bolts to the floor. See the attached image for the sort of thing (the silver metal strip).

Any ideas what it is or where I can get it?

Isn't that the edge of a carpet?

Anyhew, it is basically like the metal strip that you get on the back door, but for the sides.

every other veicle calls them a sil plate/protector, you may have difficulty using this term on a defender any not getting loads of external chequer plate hits tho.

See mine looks all the better covered in mud and when she looks the dirty bitch she really is

So annoying! I knew that I should've watched it. Just done an extensive search of eBay and can't find it anywhere.

That's quite a neat idea, would stop the floor mats bloody moving !
