Interior Light

Is there a kanck to getting the interior light cluster lense off??
Im gradually working through my list of job (only had this car a couple of months) and so far cracked the MID repair, fitted new ribbon myself to the instrument cluster and a few other bits but I can fit an interior bulb!
The online manual states to prize it off using a flatbladed screwdriver in the recess area but I dont appear to have the recess??
I start to pull away at the trim in which the lense is fitted to but a bit worried just how much forse to use as it seems pretty stead fast.
ANy pointers would be great, is a 2002 HSE TD6.

When I removed the whole light cluster I think I can remember that I had to open the plastic access panel for the sunroof and then undo two screws that would then release the light unit
