Interior Light - Whats the secret?

Hi All

Having replaced everything including the headlining after re-sealling both the front and rear sunroof's I have found that the central light above the passenger seats (row 2) do not work. Embarassingly I cannot remember if this light was working before I stripped the interior out. I am sure that this light is just an on/off not a courtesy light, even so I cannot get it to illuminate.

I would like to test it but really cannot work out how to remove it from the headlining. Does anyone know how to remove this light from the headlining. I am reluctant to just prise away with a screwdriver without a little bit of advise.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Remove it with a flat-bladed knife, it's just held in with clips. It should work as a courtesy light. Have you replaced the bulb?

I have tested the lamp. I will try and pop it out and check the connections. I just wonder if I clicked the plug home properly and need to get to the connection. I just really cannot remeber if it worked before I started the epic task.
