Go down to your local exhaust fitting place (kwikfit etc.) and ask to have a look through their scrap bin. Some of the stuff they chuck out is brand new and most of it is galvanised or powder coated. You're bound to find a piece of tube that you could use for the straight (or bent ) bits. Should only cost you a packet of biccies.

I've been having a good look around on this ebay shop and it's literally a treasure trove of parts! Can someone tell me exactly which parts I will need to buy from the shop in order to make up my 200 tdi swap intercooler setup? I've come up with this so far:

Turbo elbow out to Intercooler bottom X2 45MM £13.56:
45mm 90 Degree Elbow Silicone Hose 3 PLY BLUE on eBay (end time 26-Nov-09 11:32:09 GMT)

Intercooler top to air inlet manifold X1 45MM £7.96:
45mm 1 3/4" Silicone Elbow 45 Degree Hose Silicon Blue on eBay (end time 07-Dec-09 15:09:22 GMT)

Solid pipe work to cut to length X1 40MM £13.59:
40mm 1 5/8" OD Aluminium Alloy Hose Pipe Tube 1 Metre on eBay (end time 03-Dec-09 10:49:52 GMT)

Total cost: £35.11 plus delivery.

What else am I likely to need? They stock air intake pipe so I shouldn't have any problem getting a length of wire supported cold air feed pipe for between the air filter and the turbo inlet. Are my pipe diametres correct?

Yeah that was for a disco 200tdi into a 90 I made my own pipes out of some exhaust tube. Took about a day to make them.
