Well for me its that time of the dam year again, got the quote and its up again...£385 fully comp.
I know its diff for every one, age, area and where you are but for gods sake its gone up over £60 .the cars a year older, their pay out if its written off will be less(you can bet every penny on that)....
Anyway, anyone on here found a good cheap insurance...i am 47,ok area and its in a garage..Do less than 5k a year full no claims....
Any suggestions will try, have got to get it under £385???

Don't complain. There was another thread regarding insurance not so long ago.
My Mum had a renewal quote of £550 on a 2002 1000cc 3 cylinder Suzuki Swift . 59 years old, over 10 years no claims. Think yourself lucky you don't live in my area.

I am paying £175 from Swiftsure .But they all try it on at renewal time. The premium for our Mondeo for last year was £232 full comp 7 NCD.the renewal from the same company for next year is £938!!with no claims last year. They try very feeble excuses to explain it away and offered to reduce it by £150 when I said to cancel the renewal.Got it from RAC for £216.18!!:)

try graham-sykes.co.uk think thats the address.
from 365 with churchill to 141 with them. same as you low milage per year
ok area plus decent no claims.the policy was with highway insurance.

thank you for your ideas..tried most but will give RAC a go and graham sykes(left phone Nunber) will not do online quote???

Try Adrian Flux. When they ask if you're a member of a club, say yes.

http://www.adrianflux.co.uk/4x4/

They cover for green laning and off road use too.

I would NEVER insure a 4x4 with your average insurance company/broker. (Direct Line, Norwich union, RAC, M&S, Quinn-Direct, Endsleigh etc etc) Simply due to the fact that they wouldn't cover the car for what I actually use it for.

Did you try Adrian Flux? They specialise in 4x4s and for many on here, they gave the cheapest quote by far. Aviva (Used to be known as Norwich Union!) may be reasonable but they won't cover you for off roading and green laning may be questionable.

Well i was paying 380 with sureterm direct on a limited milage (8000 miles, hardly limited). They are brokers for equity red star. I'm only 28 but had 3 years no claims til last week when my wife decided to take the side out of a parked clio! Now i'm getting quotes for 826 when i lose my no claims. Its not up for renewal til february but still gonna hurt!
