So, on the principle that pairs are better... (Shotguns, dogs, um.. Legs) I appear to have bought a spare P38. (4.6 HSE 1994) Been garaged and coddled all her life. I'm a happy camper...

...or I was until I failed to add it to a policy where I have 10 years no claims discount!

So, anybody have a good idea of how to manage 2nd car insurance?

My insurer (privilege) offered to insure for half the value of the car

Classic car? Limited miles? Any recommendations?

Thanks In advance!

I have a multicar policy with 3 vehicles....

2 are mine (L322 and BMW) the third is her Fiat 500....

With Admiral - and I was offered the ability to split my no Claims (also 10 years) between my 2 cars so I have 5 on each....Her car is insured under the same multicar policy with her as the main driver and she has all her no claims applied to her car.

So it is one policy covering 3 cars - 2 under one main driver, 1 under another main driver and I could split my NCB across my 2 cars.

Try ringing Adrian Flux & Footman James.

As a PS I had a multi-car policy with admiral and they were fine for the first couple of years, then on renewal (no change in circumstances/vehicles) the premium nearly doubled to over £600. Split the insurance and ended up paying £239 for the Rangie @ Adrian Flux and £134 for a Citroen Picasso @ Hastings Direct
