Hi all,

I'm sure this question gets asked a lot though I wonder if most of you guys have immobilizers/alarms? I don't, and have lots of insurers won't touch me.

Has anyone recommendations for cheap insurance that accepts a no security TD5? I'm with Admiral at the moment and am fed up with the high renewal (in the past I've negotiated a new price based on the web price, but I've run out of patience with them!).

Thanks,

Andy

Ive got an 87 plate 90 insured with tesco and im only paying £22 a month. Not bad for a 26 year old with 7 years no claims is it :D and thats with no security on it (besides a fuel pump cut off switch but i didnt bother mentioning that to them)

I pay 130 pounds a year fully comp with no alarm or immobiliser but I am 37, have no accidents and live in a rural area with no crime!

Why not get an alarm or immobiliser fitted then? Surely this will give you a bit better piece of mind, and give more scope to reduce your premium.
As long as its Thatcham approved and the fitter gives you a certificate you can send to your insureance company, every one happy.
