Just been stripping out the 110 to see what I have actually got, as I slackened off the timing belt diesel started to trickle from behind the injector pump pully.
Definitely a seal gone but thought would check on prices.
Managed to find a fully reconditioned as new injector pump unit for £50 + VAT!!
Bargain of the day I reckon!:D Others were around £600!
I removed the old pump and found drive shaft seal leaking, may replace this as its actually an ok pump.
Any ideas best place just to buy this seal or recommend a service kit?

Cheers:D

New pump arrived today, genuine Lucas part all refurbed, all bagged up like brand new for what still seems a stupidly low price!
Happy days will be fitting hopefully this weekend if I get through all the other tasks :D:D

Heres where the prob was, bottom of front seal, checked posted threads and this seems to point to that is the normal fail point.

I'd just get onto diesel specialist, give them the pump model and order a seal.

LOADS of CAV manuals on the internet, my original LR workshop manuals from the good old days even show you how to rebuild these pumps and how they work down to the finest detail.
