Hi All

Does anyone know how the indicator canceling should be set up. On the rear of the wheel is a two pronged clip that links to the blue collar on the shaft. If the wheels are set straight ahead should this be vetical or horizontal, or somewhere between and does it matter which way the collar is? (I know it has to match the position of the prongs on the back of teh wheel, theres a small triangular arrow should this up or down)

If got the indicators to cacel, turning left clicks off really quickly turning right never releases the stalk - what have i messed up?

Thanks

Mine are both horizontal (wheel prongs & blue collar) when i put mine back together on the weekend after fitting a new indicator stalk works better then the old one so assume its right

Cheers Richard, sorry for the late reply some old biddy was having some sort of party last weekend and with all the "excitement" never got back on.
Got mine all horizontal but it still flicks off far to early turning right. As an aside, where does your steering lock come on. Mine locks the wheel about 160 degrees off staight ahead. Is that right or even relavant?

The triangular arrow should point to the left (ie. toward the indicator stalk), and I think the two prongs on the back go in a vertical plane.

But they're fixed to the steering wheel aren't they? So their position is not really negotiable.

Any body Help with my indicators ? when i do a left they are normal speed , Yet when i turn Right the flash three times as fast. Sorry to be of topic but would anybody know the problem and how to fix it ? Thanks for any help.

well to be honest mine is still not perfect some times they click off early and some times they don't.

to be honest no idea about the stearing lock never use mine. i know its not linked to the indicators that just the blue color and prong thing on the wheel.

Hi All

the prongs on mine are a spring clip that nips tight onto the back of the wheel so unclips and moves so it could be any where in relation to the wheel angle. Never use the steering lock either -yet but as it looks like its going to get tested ....

anyone know if its a requirement to have the indicators cancel at all

No, all the bulbs are working , that is why i could not figure it out.

Check the earths to each bulb, take them out one at a time and see what happens that may narrow the area to seach in then clear all the crap out of the trailer socket (if you have one) and try re-seating the relay or swap that out. Some relays (citreon for example) only flash at the right speed with the right load so a short or open curcuit od dodgy earth will have the same effect
