I've not had the car long as some of you know, air bags failing are a new thing to me and seam to be a show stopper . More so when 250 miles from home, and I'm only 12 miles from john paddock lol

I would say get the AA out and trailer home.

Fix it there at best price and consider changing all 4.

Sorry I can't offer any direct help...

Best of luck.

Strut life is only around 8 years...so 11 aint shabby.

Mine where changed in 2011 and mine is also a 2003...

Nowt wrong with air suspensions as long as it is maintained and preventative maintenance is carried out...nothing last for ever...not even coil springs as they will fatigue and crack at some point!

As Saint.V8 say's, design life of airbags is 7/8 years, 80K miles, like tyres, they need replacing at regular intervals. One plus with the P38 is that it can be driven on the bump stops slowly (30mph or so), bloody uncomfortable but safe.

Hi
I drove my Disco 120 miles with a nsr air bag blown it was fine on the bump stop. I just made sure that the tyre was not rubbing on the arch. But obviously I can't recommend that just thought it might be helpful to hear that someone has done it.
PS when you can go back to spring.
