Good evening (UK) or whatever time it is where you are.
I'm about to make a first purchase of a Land Rover, and despite being warned against the Discovery series 4, that is the vehicle that seems closest to suiting my needs.
I'm 60 in a few weeks, I'm 6ft tall and large frame, minis just ain't me!
I currently drive a Mitsubishi warrior (Shogun) 2005, love the vehicle, but time for an upgrade, at least with a centre screen.
My boot is often full of tools, I pull several trailers, of various designs, and the roof rack is often used. I have two dogs, two teenagers, who have friends. Single dad. Live in the flatlands of the UK, in the farming community, not a farmer though.
Have considered Range Rover, and tried to make comparisons.
My uncle and cousin are land rover experts, but older stuff, and have had a Land Rover garage since I was a kid.
Any suggestions as to why, or why not to get a Discovery 4 would be appreciated.
Thank you, and I look forward to engaging.
