Hi Guys,

As per title...

They are 2006 Vogue Alloys 18inch to replace my 20inch crap...

Questions are -

My 20's are from L322 so I am guessing I got the correct bolts and spacer things??

Tyres are: 2x Pirelli Scorpion Zero 255/60/R18 112V M+S Extra Load (7.5mm+)
2x Good Year Wrangler 255/60/R18 112H M+S Extra Load (4mm)

Which should I put on Front? As in Tread Depth?

They have been balanced but I thinking to get the car tracked? Good idea??

Feel free to take the ****....!! :)

Regards
James

Best tires on the front

not a lot of tread on the good years, same tire on mine new though and very happy with them.

used the scorpions in the desert and found them okay, never really tried them on tarmac but imagine they will do nicely

Hi James, You should have the correct bolts already and you will (if they're not on your old hubs/wheels) need the spigot rings to centre the wheels. Check your 20"tyres for any odd wear and that will tell you if you need tracking. NSF usually had hard outer shoulder wear due to the nature of roundabouts and can be swapped to OSR when rotating wheels.

With 3mm tread difference it shouldn't matter.

Check your speedo readings after fitting to as the L322 Tyre sizes are slightly larger than the standard P38 rims. Mine over reads by 4mph - by GPS.

Guessing pirellis are gonna be ok. Will change goodyears for pirellis when I got cash. How long will 4mm last as rears??

Hopefully got spigots on 20s, fingers crossed!!

Guessing the 20's will be slightly off on mph too?

Will this change the gearing of the car?? Or mpg??

My experience with pirellies are not good they only lastyed 15000km before 2 sidewalls blistered and the others were worn down to nearly illegal tread depth.
The toyo open road lasted for 30000 miles and still has tread but im thinking of replacing all of them with Michelin lattitude cross as they seem to have the best reviews.

Sorry should have mentioned mine are 265/60R18 on L322 Vogue 18" so it would over read!!

Right.....strange things.....wheels are all balanced up...it's pulling left really bad! I had tracking checked about a month ago, all fine!

It's like I really have to fight it to keep the car straight..... New steering damper is going on today anyways, but that's not gonna do anything. Is it?

James, try swapping the wheels around and see what changes. The original set on mine, although worn, didn't look obviously knackered in any way, and it pulled heavily left. A new set of tyres all round was the first thing I did and the constant left pull disappeared.

Also... Have you checked the pressures are all even?

Check your torque settings to, over torqueing can potentially lead to binding brakes/warped discs and all that good stuff. They are actually quite a lose fit on the L322/P38 wheels. From memory 108NM.
