Hi, anyone who can advise me please,at my wits end. My 97 Disco v8 auto, Runs fine but when at traffic lights etc is very lumpy and revs go up and down from near stall to around 1000.if ive been in a traffic jam i.m still feeling the bumps when i,m having my tea, Ive had new Airflow meter, distributor, dizzy cap.rotor arm.plugs ,leads ,coil, stepper motor and two new Lambda sensors total cost with labour £1400. Had it at local autotechnics who fitted new parts say the computer cant find anything wrong. Only thing is ,one of the cats rattles. Does anyone think that could be the problem before i spend a small fortune on pair of new ones..Thanks.hoylandy.

Hi if the cats breaking up it will cause problems,i had a similar car come in the other day spent more than you at all these garages all it needed was setting up correctly fuel wise i did find the dizi weights stuck but most of it was just basic stuff, see if you can get a second hand cat from breakers, cheers tiga
