How to replace td4 turbo

I will set up a guide this afternoon or tomorrow to update that one. Basically with bits that I found they can be done in a better way to save time.
You will need a second person to screw something upon putting it back though. Can't see how else.
Sounds great, thanks. Second person would definitely help! Think I’ve just got 3 bolts left to take off, one on the exhaust manifold (nightmare to get to through the n/s wheel arch with a mile of extensions) and two to release the metal oil pipe. Fingers crossed!

Apparently this’ll do it!

I find it easier to lean over near the vacuum stuff, to be honest.
If you have those 3 screws out and it won't move (just a little bit) there is a hidden screw above the ird and below the exhaust of the turbo.
Some people missed that bit. I did it as well. Nervous breakdowns were reported.

Here is a picture, but I would recommend removing the other two on the green line side instead, or you will have big difficulties putting that screw back. Also, remember to mark the exact position of that braket to fit the replacement.

I would not do it that way, as it will be close to impossible to put it back and the gasket etc.
I would unscrew the jubilee one where that pipe goes in (6mm socket), and then you can pull it out.

Luckily I have a bit of movement after removing the top 3 bolts so pretty sure it’s just the ones I mentioned earlier but only time will tell. Having another stab at it tomorrow afternoon. Thanks for all your help, much appreciated!

Yes if you see in the picture I posted is right in the base down of the red circle, Just go by the feel is not that hard.
That bracket is holding it. On two screws green side and one on the picture.
A simplified diagram, red is where it goes and green is which screws to remove before or after, that bracket is holding the whole turbo as well.
