Hi,
Can anyone please help.
The clock on my 2000 Freelander TD4 does not work and I need to recode my Radio. Is there anyway this can be done without having to use the clock?
If not do you know where I can buy a cheap clock?
Cheers
Dave.

Breakers or eBay, always plenty on ebay. I would not have thought there was any way to do it without being able to see the numbers you are putting in. Can you borrow a clock, are you friends with someone on here? Rover 400's and 200's have the same clock as well. The numbers are orange however. More likely to find one of those cheap in a breakers.

You can do it blind, as long as you have instructions and know which buttons to press. If your code is 1234, you start off with the code showing 0--- and then enter < or > to change the first digit to 1, then press 1 and the clock would be showing 10--

Then < or > until you get to 2, then press 1. The clock would be showing 120-.

Then < or > until you get to 3, then press 1. The clock would be showing 123-.

Then < or > until you get to 4, the press 1. The clock would be showing 1234.

Press 1 for the final time and you should get a double bleep and the radio will work.

Cheers

Blippie
