How much is your affected by colder weather

Second fill for me since colder weather hit and it's gone from 32mpg round town to 29mpg.
This is my first winter with the fbh working so i hope to keep nice and warm.

My petrol does 27 mpg all year round

So unleaded being cheaper, does that make the 1.8 cheaper to run?

It closes the gap a little but at 8p a litre difference the difference is'nt enough

Lpg could be an option, but makes it run hotter

But the purchase price takes a long time to claw back compared to the 1.8! We won't mention the V6

Mine does about 30-31, perhaps that's the EWP making itself felt?

that's not on a run, that's just knocking about.

Yes but then again you leave bimmers and audis in the dirt. No wonder it drinks !

My v6 is crap on fool but I have been working on this and it's getting betterer. My normal local mpg will start with a 2 soon.

But yer can't eggspect a furra bred to be economical on fool.

Mines exactly the same figures,2001 TD4.
Nothing like the sound of the FBH on a cold frosty morning.
