I admit it - I'm a total newbie when it comes to Land Rovers but after two winters of serious snow in the Central Belt of Scotland, I've succumbed to a 'small' Freelander... Hardback 52 plate 2.5 V6 ES petrol automatic - I think that's about all the magic heiroglyphs on the spec...
Anyway... noob buys Freelander down south because it's immaculate, gen low mileage and most of the trimmings (air con, heated leather seats etc)... but also including a CD autochanger under the driver's seat. However, the dashboard has a Land Rover radio cassette deck built-in and no obvious CD 'mode' button. Instruction manuals (also immaculate, in leather folder...) only show different CD controls for the dashboard and nowt about a radio cassette controlling a CD autochanger.
Question: Is there some way of controlling the CD autochanger from the radio cassette deck, or has someone changed the dashboard setup at some point and left the autochanger behind??? Any thoughts?
Thanks for any suggestions
