Real anal question this but I've just got another defender [2001] that has a bag with jack in, a loose base, a bag with small tools in and a larger bag with wrenches etc.
Now they're all in matching black plastic bags so assume they came with the motor.

How do they all attach to the bulk head? I have two bungy things and several metal fixed brackets.

Would be nice to put them away properly rather than just throwing them behind the seats where they rattle.

Pic's if you've got em, I've been all over google and I can't find any

Cheers in advance
Brian

The usual method of stowing tools etc in a Defender is to:

1. Open the rear door wide
2. Stand well back and throw tools
3. Slam the door quickly before the whole mess falls out again

This has been known to present some difficulties while the vehicle is facing uphill. For best results arrange for the vehicle to be facing downhill.

The bungys clip over the clips with the bag mounted horizontal.

I worked the jack out, guess I chuck the rest back behind the seat like previous owner:rolleyes:

This is what I expected  I had all the seats out so it was a perfect opportunity to put everything back right.

Was a stupid question though:eek:

Cheers guys
