horn not working on n-reg disco

hi all i brought a n reg disco and realised the horn dont work i checked the connections on the horns, and inside steering wheel. i looked under steering wheel in the fuse box and cant find fuse for horn now im stuck as anyone had this problem with theres if so how do i rectify the problem many thanks dave..........,

i have the same prob on mine,until i put on the fog light switch and bwwwrrrfff i near **** myself,its not the handyest place for it too be cause i can never find it when i need it,dont know why some one wired it through there either,but just a thought try putting on all your switches you never know lol

try taking the center of the steering wheel off and clean up the contacts

I had this on my disco and it turned out to be a blown engine fuse so check through the fuse box under your bonnet.

Think it was one with a picture of the engine and a kind of lightning flash through it bizarrely, not the actual horn fuse

the horn fuse is under the bonnet , middle one of 5 . 30 amp and also does the hazzard lights .
so first step is to see if the hazzards work ...

if you take the steering wheel off there is a copper strip that rubs on the under side of the wheel bend it up half an inch worked for me
