Hood tops etc

hi friends, I've just bought a 1978 ser 3, which has been completely restored.... I live in the Canary Islands where it virtually never rains, so I thought a bikini hood would be just the job. Question is, do I need door tops as it,doesn't have any, Or will the hoop behind the front seats be enough? I've not run a rag top before so any advice gratefully received.
