... I'm not sure I ever did this introduction thingie so here goes, better late than never eh?
After hiring a Disco 4 accidentally I decided I liked LR enough to get one of my own. I ended up with a late 2006 Freelander TD4 with 41K on the clock, 12 months warranty, MoT and even a couple of months or road tax.
Now, just about 7 months later, it has 60K on the clock and apart from one or two niggles (which didn't involve the doors falling off) it's been great. I might have been tempted to burn it when the fuel pump expired on the M6 (at Stoke) leaving me with 300 miles to go to reach my destination up here in Argyll. The hills were fun, in a distinctly unfunny way, but I did make it back. Thanks to this forum, the search function and the experience of its members I was able to diagnose and repair the fault and test it on the journey back south just a few days later.
So there you go. Intro done, belatedly, but done nonetheless.
