Can't believe it... went out today to pick up a garden rotavator and came back with a 1974 series 3 for the missus????

Now have one each - trouble is hers is probably better than mine and only £850 (bargain)

Petrol... and with overdrive, and MOT til August - chassis looks solid and all appears to be working (that has probably put the kiss of death on it) - usual oil leaks underneath and 90 Doors - but even so a bargain I thought?

yep, definately, especially with OD

...managed to persuade him to throw in a service as well as knocking him down from £995... don't think he could believe that somebody would take it off his hands so quickly as he had literally only just accepted it in part exchange for a Navaro - something about being in the right place at the right time (hopefully)

Looks nice and tidy, good find.
We have a His and Hers I own the Rangie and she owns the series three the only problem is I'm still trying to get her to learn to drive, mad mad mad:confused::confused:

Know what you mean treeman...

I'm new to landies myself and s3 diesel has not been on the road much as had a full stripdown and rebuild, but even then the number of levers is a bit disconcerting to Denise... imagine her face when she was confronted with the additional overdrive lever as well!

There may be some covert operations going on in the garage over the next few weeks swapping bits from hers to mine - I'm sure she won't mind really???

Thought I'd better add a couple of pics of mine as well...

Nothing done on her through the winter - have had her up on axle stands in the garage, but put the key in last weekend and started first time.

Just need to rebuild the rear axle and sort out the brakes and she's back on the road... better remember to raise the height of the garage door before I take her out though!!!!!!
