Welcome to lz. :) Good choice of vehicle. One of the best landrovers ever made!

Just a Ninety, though, defenders didn't start until 1990.

Cant help about the stuff, I pretty much stay standard. You could try having a look in parts for sale etc. I don't think you can post in there, but you could pm anyone selling anything.

As a fellow 1988 tratter owner who works in Lichfield welcome to the forum. Do a search in the Defender section for rx8 seats as they are a popular swap and look at upgrading the security
Hi Marmaduke,
Thanks for the advice. Do the MAZDA RX8 seats fit nicely or are there some mods that need doing?
And what upgrade to the security do you meen? (So sorry, new to the scene).

He means stuff like crooklocks, clutch pedal locks, alarms, tracking beacons, stuff like that. Google search is your friend.

Ok , many thanks.
Go to the Defender section and type rx8 seats into the search box in the top right hand corner and it'll bring up a list off postings about people who have previously fitted them. I keep toying with the idea myself but something else always seems to come up first or break:( like my fuel tank that has left me a puddle on the company car park tonight.

Personally I've got a skytag and fortunately or unfortunately I can vouch that they work after mine was stolen from outside my house one night and I got it back later that day.
