Hi all, i recently bought a 1.8 GS freelander 2002. it has behaved and im very happy with it so far. i use this 3 door with out the back seats for driving my band equipment around in shortish journeys. im most interested in engine treatments and maintanance products. RVS is the latest product I have been using to rejuventate the combustion in the car and cut my emissions.
i have a science back ground and understand much of the theory behind 3rd generation biofuels and alternative fuel.
i believe strongly that if a car is looked after it will look after you. there are a few minor issues with my freelander:
a high squeking noise coming from under the car about 3 foot into completing a turn past45 degrees. it doesnt come when idle and i turn the wheel.
a noise in the gear box when i out it into reverse as if its catching on a cog.
a very stiff clutch.
