Hi Level Rear light pod?

Hi All,

Just got my first Freelander (5 door 2006 TD4 Station Wagon) and I'd like to start personalising it....

(I have spent a bit of time looking for this already)

Has anybody come across a rear light pod for the Freelander 1? I'd like more light when I'm reversing 'out of trouble' (ok down a dark muddy lane) and it would be handy to have a high level full set of lights incase I have a bike rack etc on the back and it obscures the main lights.

get a work light on roof bars if you have them and put a switch in

I was hoping there would be an after-market option that contained everything and preserved the freelanders good looks and most of the aero-dynamics

hello,
a work lamp mounted on the spare wheel arm would be the best choice.

I guess you could get one of these and adapt it to face backwards, kind of like a rear wing to improve aero-dynamics and get some "extra traction" too.

I'm glad I got your attention, clearly there's some really 'stunning' kit out there

Now, can anyone tell me why the roof rails don't go all the way to the back?

cos they dont, to find out why, ring Land Rover and ask Gerry McGovern. He designed the Freelander.
