Hi Folks,

I've just managed to buy a cracking 130 with a Quadtec box for a camper conversion.

It's a great vehicle and I'm looking forward to fitting it out and using it. It will make a change to the VW T5 conversions that I am use to.

Right, that's me for now.

Cheers.

You guys might recognise it. It's been for sale for a bit. I went to view it, liked it, bought it. Made sense to me. Luckily the good lady liked it as well, as I turned up at home with it without telling her.

Upgrade the security on it. They're easily nicked and popular to do so.

Pedal lock, crook locks for gearstick/handbrake AND a decent disclock for steering wheel when parked overnight. Trackers a good investment as well. Also leave transfer box in neutral, anything to slow em down. I put my steering full lock towards the house before I put steering lock and crook lock on, just makes it harder to drag away in a straight line cuz they don't need to drive em to nick em ;)

Move the horn as yer can undo the headlights and remove them to chop the horn wires. Horn used fer alarm sometimes. Fit security screws/bolts on all lights and doors. It's well known tratter doors fall oft when wet.

Bonnets fall oft when wet anorl. Someone else will need to advise ont this.

Ere tratterers, what does yer do to fix this problem? Change bolts?

Thanks for the advice Smithy. I'll order up some security this week. I like the idea of a pedal lock and wheel lock.

I got the x-eng pedal lock from foundry4x4 £180 well spent and easy enough to fit. You do need to build the lock yourself though lol. I need to get a proper disclock for the wheel, got a cheapo on at moment as stop gap think they're about £150

Security hinges available I think, havent looked into hinges and security bolts much yet.

I took a freelander through a car wash once and EVERYTHING fell off :p
