Hi from sunny Essex,

Been reading the forum on and off for ages but now decided to take the plunge if I can find the right Defender. I have found the forum to be a great source of information so now the hunt begins.

I am looking for a nice, late Defender 90 Station wagon in XS spec. I currently have a pristine 2010 Mk2 Audi TT Coupe I am looking to exchange so if you have the Defender for me, send me a PM :D

Welcome, from the now very rainy Essex!

I also came from a BMW to a TD5 - mine was a 400bhp M5. Yes, I miss it like hell but at least I will keep my licence, which was looking highly unlikely at one point!

You've made a good choice with this site - I've learnt so much in the last year.

Good luck.

Cheers guys, I am looking forward to getting a Defender. Seen a couple of possibles, but it seems some of the stealers are wanting silly money for two year old vehicles so will keep looking for the right deal. :D

If you buy private check all documents, check again, then do an hpi check, loads of ringed defenders about. Dont want to frighten you, but dont want to see anyone else tucked up.
Good luck with your search and when you find one your welcome to join us for a days laning.

Hi mermoto, TT to Defender...... good choice. Try RST in West Mersea. I have had a couple of '90s from them. Proper engineers not box changers and normally have some in stock.

Where are you in Essex?

Frosticles

:welcome2: So your going for the POSH end of the market.
Don't forget with a Land Rover less is more....................................less to go wrong.:D
